The concept of Musician’s Futures is very simple:

"Think of it like any other futures market. Just as there is gold or oil in the ground that investors speculate on, so too, there is talent waiting to be uncovered. The 'speculators' in this format are the Groupies ...your fans!"

There is no need to go into debt to sell a record! Unlike the typical record label, which lends you money for your album in the hopes that you may be the next “big thing”, our system is designed to promote your band to the world using your demo material; whether it was professionally recorded or done in your friend’s basement. This material then sets the stage for you to attract Groupies (shareholders) who pre-purchase (buy shares) in your next CD and merchandise.

When you purchase a Band Membership your Act gets an account with a target of $50,000 for whatever your most profitable next move will be. That might be releasing your debut or sophomore album. It might be you are just about to go on a tour and want to print CD’s, T-shirts and posters to sell at your shows. Maybe you want to put a broadcast quality video on MTV or Much Music. The point is your fans can buy shares in your band’s future.

Each Act is allotted 2,500 shares to sell at $20 each, to total $50,000.

This is where it gets really exciting. For the first 500 paid Band Memberships, Polyrhythm Music Corp (PMC) will be purchasing 500 shares to put toward the success of your Act and your future. That is $10,000 into your Act Exposed Bank Account! And for the following 1000 entrants $5,000 will be deposited toward their plans for World Domination!

ActExposed.com will host your band in conjunction with any other website or affiliates you may already have in place. Build your own Band-Page on ActExposed.com. Upload pictures, your biography, influences and three demo-songs that represent your Act. Tell your friends and fans where they can find our website, link it to your MySpace account and spread the word!

The $50K can be spent on any number of programs within the Act Exposed portfolio. We have found that it is most wisely spent on producing a professional CD ready for radio play, distribution and sales within our Merchandise Mall. However, if your band already has a professional CD but needs funds for touring, promotions or other merchandise et cetera then the money can be available for this as well. We operate on an Act-by-Act basis.
